Improved lebals for AllNel.com

Do you use the labels on this blog? Do you even know where are they? You can find them on the right side bar. Labels can help filter out posts to help you find what you are looking for. I am in the planning process of making some changes to this blog and 1 of the first changes I need to do is update the labels. I think the improvment is noticable. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Notice that narrowed the labels down from 16 to 6. The goal was to make the labels easy to understand and straight to the point. It took lots of thinking and the way I figured it out was to think about the types of posts I will be doing in the near future. Here is the expanded meaning of the labels. Some are pretty obvious but I think it is goo to explain it.

Eye Candy - In the past this label used to be called "Sexy" but for some reason google thinks that "sexy" means porn. Eye Candy is pretty much good anypost that has good looking women in it. In the near future I would like to have aspiring models to be featured on this blog.

Gamer - Posts about video games from all consoles. Most of the of the gaming posts that come here will be from GamerMotion.com. No surprise there.

Watch and Learn  - Posts that may teach you how to do something.

Life - Posts about life and all that good stuff.

Nerdy/Geeky - Posts that cover everything nerdy, that could be Movies, Comics, TV, Toys and more

Tech - Posts about all things take. From Macs to PCs and more.

A big change for my blog "All Nel" may happen soon

Hey guys, Its Sunday morning and I am doing some thinking. Normally this is the time I knock out some blog posts and things are going great for MyNerdBlog and GamerMotion but not so much for AllNel.com.

The Problem

AllNel.com is having a bit of identity issues. I am stuck at what do I want to post on here. This is suppose to be a personal blog focusing on my personal life, gaming, movies, tech and more but I feel like everything that I am doing I do it for MyNerdBlog or GamerMotion. A lot of my plans this year are either gaming related or nerdy things like movies, comics, conventions or things like that. There really is much "personal" I want to share on this blog. I don't think people are really that interested in my love life no matter how funny or dirty I make it sound. That is the problem. I do not know where I am taking this blog. I have no future plans for it other then to update it everyday but how can I update it if I don't know where I want to take it? I fucking LOVED AllNel.com like guy loves his first car but I hate looking at a blank page and not knowing what to type.

Solution #1

Since I lately I don't know what to do with this blog I been thinking about staying true to the name. The solution is to make thig blog all about my youtube videos. I can understand some people may not like this idea but it is the only way I can think of to keep this blog updated with 100% original content.

Solution #2

Delete this blog and have the domain redirect to MyNerdBlog.com. This is a solution I do not want to happen cause I know I will miss having this blog. It comes in handy and I really do have some loyal readers.

Why take this risk?

Solution #1 will most likely happen within the this week. It might scare off some of my long time readers who come to this blog everyday for some cheap laughs. I understand that but I really want to move up and try new things. I no longer feel the need to write out blog posts, I want to do videos. I don't know where AllNel.com is going but sometimes I look at it and I feel like it is becoming a blog just for funny pictures. There are so many funny pic blogs out there that it is embarrassing to have something that looks like that. I hope my readers understand the need for this change and I trust this idea. I feel that my videos are better then my blog posts so I look forward to seeing how AllNel.com transforms with more videos by me.

The Bottom line is...

I need to figure out where this blog is going? Where is it at? and Where do I want to take it in the next few months. I know this blog has loyal readers and every change I make wether its big or small I will make sure it does not disappoint.

How to talk to girl gamers [Video]

I been wanting to do a video where I talk about gaming and dating but I never knew where to start. I figured it is best to first talk about the right way guys should talk to girl gamers. No matter if you are a girl or guy, you should watch this video and spread the helpful advice.

Women of No Pants Subway Ride 2012

For the 11th year in a row, people everywhere took off their pants and rode public transportation in the name of Improv Everywhere’s No Pants Subway Ride. 2012 saw tens of thousands of people from 59 cities in 27 countries step outside (in the sometimes frigid weather) in their Sunday best.

Sadly I did not go to this event. It seems like a ton of fun but it was just too damn cold and I hate to sound like a pussy but that is my excuse. This is like the 3rd year I wanted to go but did not. This summer I will put together a meet up like this. Why? Cause I think I have enough followers to bring this together. Also, it will be more easier to convince others to hop on the train in their underwear if the weather is above 80 degrees. Be sure to check back cause I will make this plan happen and it will surely be an amazing thing to see.
